How to Use
1. Save a document
Entry path: top menu bar → Save
- Create a new document or edit an existing document.
- Tap Save in the top menu bar.
- The document is saved to the current target location.
- If this is the first save for a new document, choose the save path, file name, and file format as prompted.
Success check
- Interface result: the save process finishes and the document is written to the selected location.
- What you can do next: continue editing, close the document, or use Save As later.
Notes
- When you save a new document for the first time, you need to complete the file name, format, and path information.
- Saving during editing can reduce the risk of losing changes after an interruption.
2. Save As to a specific location
Entry path: top menu bar → More → Save As
- Tap More in the top menu bar.
- Find and tap Save As in the menu.
- Confirm the file name and choose a file format: .DOC, .DOCX, or .TXT.
- In the location selection screen, choose This Device, Cloud Docs, or another cloud storage service.
- Adjust the file name or format if needed, then tap Save to finish.
Success check
- Interface result: the system saves a new copy.
- What you can do next: open the file in the new location, or continue sharing or editing that copy.
- No side effect: the original file is not directly overwritten by Save As.
Notes
- Save As is useful when you want to keep different versions of the same document.
- When saving to Cloud Docs or another cloud storage service, make sure the related service is available.
3. Store to Local
Entry path: top menu bar → More → Store to Local
- Tap More in the top menu bar.
- Find and tap Store to Local in the menu.
- Choose iCloud Drive, On My iPhone, or another cloud drive service from the available locations.
- Save the file after choosing the destination.
Success check
- Interface result: the file is saved to the selected device location or system file location.
- What you can do next: find, share, or move the file from the system file location.
Notes
- If the target location does not have enough available space, the save may not finish.
- If you want to view the file across devices, choose a cloud drive location that supports syncing.
