Why can’t I see revision marks after editing the document?

  1. Tap Tools and open the Review tab.
  2. Make sure Start Revision is turned on.
  3. If you want to view revision content directly, also turn on Show Comments and Revisions.
  4. Return to the document and check whether your edits appear as revisions.

Where can I view revision content?

  1. Tap Tools.
  2. Open the Review tab.
  3. Turn on Show Comments and Revisions.
  4. Tap the revision content in the document to view detailed information in the pop-up window.

Do earlier revision records remain after I turn off Revision?

  1. Turning off Start Revision only stops later edits from being recorded as new revisions.
  2. Revision marks that are already saved in the document remain available.
  3. To view existing revisions more easily, keep Show Comments and Revisions turned on.

Will revision marks disappear on another device?

  1. Revision marks are saved with the document.
  2. When you open the same document on another device, you can still view the existing revision content.
  3. For easier viewing, turn on the revision display option on that device as well.
