How-to Index

How-to Guide

1. Bring Forward

Entry: Design tab → Bring Forward

  1. Select the item that you want to move forward.
  2. Click the Design tab at the top of the window.
  3. Find and click Bring Forward.
  4. Check whether the item moves forward by one position.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The selected item moves one position forward among peer items.
  • What you can do next: You can continue moving it forward or switch to Send Backward for fine adjustments.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If no item is selected first, the order change cannot be applied to the target item.
  • Environment note: Bring Forward changes only the order of peer items and does not change the hierarchy.

2. Send Backward

Entry: Design tab → Send Backward

  1. Select the item that you want to move backward.
  2. Click the Design tab at the top of the window.
  3. Find and click Send Backward.
  4. Check whether the item moves backward by one position.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The selected item moves one position backward among peer items.
  • What you can do next: You can continue moving it backward or use Bring Forward to restore the position.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Confusing Send Backward with level-changing commands can lead to unexpected results.
  • Environment note: The last item cannot continue moving backward.

3. Change Position from the Floating Toolbar

Entry: Floating toolbar → Change Position → Bring Forward / Send Backward

  1. Select the item that you want to adjust.
  2. On the floating toolbar, click Change Position.
  3. Choose Bring Forward or Send Backward.
  4. Check whether the item order updates as expected.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The item order changes immediately according to the selected command.
  • What you can do next: You can continue adjusting other items without switching to the top menu.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Choosing the wrong command on the floating toolbar can move the item in the opposite direction from what you expected.
  • Environment note: This method also changes only the order of peer items.
