1. Set solid color fill from Text Tools or Home

3. Use a custom color

4. Pick a color with the eyedropper

Entry point: Home or Text Tools > Font Color > Eyedropper

2. Open the Font Color menu from Home or Text Tools.
3. Choose Eyedropper.

5. The text uses the sampled color.

5. Adjust solid fill and transparency in More Settings

2. Click More Settings to open the Object Properties panel.
3. Under Text Options, click Fill & Outline.
4. In the Text Fill area, choose Solid Fill.
