Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The target text matches the source text in font, size, color, bold styling, and related formatting.
  • What you can do next: You can continue editing, save the file, or start another formatting action.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not select formatted source text first, Format Painter may not work as expected.
  • Environment note: The result is clearer when you use it on editable presentation content.

2. Double-click Format Painter for repeated application

Entry: Home / Text Tools tab → Format Painter

  2. Double-click Format Painter to keep the tool active.
  3. Select multiple target text areas one by one.
  4. Press Esc, or click Format Painter again when you are done.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Multiple target text areas receive the same formatting, and the repeated-use mode ends after you exit it.
  • What you can do next: You can return to normal editing and continue working on the presentation.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you forget to exit repeated-use mode, later text selections may continue receiving the copied formatting.
  • Environment note: Before repeated application, make sure the source text already contains the full formatting you want to reuse.
