1. Save a master background as an image
Entry: Review → Slide Master → Slide Master tab → Save Background
- Open the presentation you want to edit.
- On the Review tab, click Slide Master to enter master editing view.
- In the left thumbnail pane, select the master whose background you want to export.
- Click Save Background.
- In the dialog box, choose the save location.
- Enter the file name and select the save format.
- Click Save to finish the export.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A save dialog appears, and an image file is created after saving.
- Next action available: You can open the local folder and view the exported background image.
- No side effect: The exported file contains only the current master background and does not include other objects.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not enter Slide Master view first, the Save Background entry will not appear.
- Environment note: Select the target master in the left thumbnail pane before exporting.
- Content scope: The saved result includes the current master background only, not other objects.
