FAQ

Can I rename a layout too?

  1. Yes. First enter Slide Master view.
  2. Select the target layout in the thumbnail pane on the left.
  3. Click Rename, enter the new name, and confirm.

Are there any naming rules?

  1. Avoid using the same name as an existing master so items stay easy to distinguish.
  2. Use descriptive names, such as names based on purpose, department, or page structure.
  3. If multiple people edit the file, agree on a naming convention in advance.

Where will the new name appear after I rename it?

  3. This makes it easier to find the correct structure later.
