Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: Choosing a type before confirming the layout purpose may require later adjustments.

  5. When finished, exit Slide Master view and apply the related layout in normal view to check the result.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: A new placeholder area appears in the layout.
  • Next actions: You can continue adjusting the size and position, or apply the layout in normal view.
  • No side effects: Existing presentation content is not automatically deleted when a new placeholder is added.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If the drawn area is too small, later content may not display well.
  • Environment limits: A placeholder defines the content region in the layout, while actual content is usually filled in normal view.
