1. Open This Template

Entry point: Design → Master → This Template

  1. Open the presentation you want to edit.
  2. Click the Design tab at the top.
  3. Click the Master drop-down button.
  4. Select This Template.
  5. In the dialog box, review all available templates in the current presentation.

  • UI state: The This Template dialog box opens.
  • Next actions: You can select a template style and continue with template application.

2. Apply a Template to the Current Slide

Entry point: Design → Master → This Template

  1. Open the This Template dialog box by following the previous steps.
  2. Select the template style you want from the list.
  3. Confirm that the target slide is currently selected.
  4. Click Apply to Current Page.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: The current slide updates to the selected template style.
  • Next actions: You can continue editing the current slide or move to another slide.
  • No side effects: Other slides are not replaced at the same time.

3. Replace the Current Master or Apply to All Slides

Entry point: Design → Master → This Template

  1. Open the This Template dialog box.
  2. Select the template style you want to use.
  3. To update the current master, click Replace Current Master.
  4. To apply the template to the full presentation, click Apply to All Pages.
  5. Review slide layouts and content positions across the presentation.
