1. Insert a Video

Entry: Bottom toolbar → Tools → Insert → Video

  1. Open the presentation you want to edit and go to the target slide.
  2. Tap Tools on the bottom toolbar.
  3. Switch to the Insert tab.
  4. Tap Video.
  5. Choose the video you want to insert from Photos.
  6. Tap Select to finish inserting it.

  • The inserted video object appears on the current slide.
  • The video object can be selected and shows control points for further editing.

  • Before choosing a video, make sure WPS Office has permission to access Photos or videos.

2. Adjust the Selected Clip

Entry: After choosing a video, use the selection handles to adjust the inserted range

  1. After choosing the video, look for the selection handles in the preview or lower area.
  2. Drag the start handle to set the beginning of the clip.
  3. Drag the end handle to set the end of the clip.
  4. Preview the selected range and confirm that it matches your presentation needs.
  5. Tap Select to insert the adjusted clip.

3. Resize the Video Frame

Entry: Select the inserted video object and drag its control points

  1. Tap the inserted video object on the slide.
  2. Check that control points appear around the object.
  3. Drag the control points to enlarge or reduce the video frame.
  4. Move the video object to a suitable position after resizing.
  5. Check whether the text, images, and video layout work well together on the slide.

  • The video frame size is updated and fits the current layout.
  • Other slide content is not obviously blocked.
