How-to Guide

1. Find from the ribbon

Entry: Home tab → Find button (shortcut: Ctrl+F)

  1. Open the presentation that you want to edit.
  2. Click the Home tab on the top menu bar.
  3. Click Find, or press Ctrl+F.
  4. Enter the text that you want to find.
  5. Press Enter or click the find button to view the result.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you type a keyword but do not press Enter or run the search, the result will not move to the next match.

2. Replace from the ribbon

Entry: Home tab → Find → Replace (shortcut: Ctrl+H)

  1. Open the presentation that you want to edit.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow next to Find.
  3. Select Replace, or press Ctrl+H.
  4. Enter the text that you want to find.
  5. Enter the new text in the replacement box.
  6. Click Replace to update one item, or click Replace All to update all matches.
