How-to Guide
1. Find text
Entry: Top-right menu → Find and Replace → Find
- Tap the top-right menu button.
- Tap Find and Replace.
- Select the Find tab.
- Enter the keyword you want to search for.
- Tap the search button to view matching results.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: matching results for the keyword appear on screen.
- Next action available: you can continue moving through results or return to editing.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if you do not switch to the Find tab first, the input field may be used for replacement instead.

2. Replace text
Entry: Top-right menu → Find and Replace → Replace
- Tap the top-right menu button.
- Tap Find and Replace.
- Select the Replace tab.
- Enter the text to find and the replacement text.
- Tap Replace to update the current match.
- Tap Replace All to update all matches at once.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the current match or all matching text is updated with the new content.
- Next action available: you can continue replacing text or return to the presentation to review the result.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: using Replace All before confirming the keyword scope may update multiple locations at once.
- Environment note: it is helpful to review matches first, then run a batch replacement.
3. Find and Replace settings
Entry: Settings button at the top-left of the Find and Replace page
- Open the Find and Replace screen.
- Tap the settings button at the top-left.
- Turn Match case on or off as needed.
- Turn Whole word matching on or off as needed.
- Return to the Find or Replace screen and continue.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the setting status is updated.
- Next action available: later searches and replacements follow the current matching settings.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: starting a replacement before checking the current settings may make the match scope too broad or too narrow.
