1. Open Spell Check

Entry point: Review > Proofing > Spell Check

  1. Open the presentation that you want to review.
  2. Click the Review tab at the top of the window.
  3. In the Proofing area, click Spell Check.
  4. You can also press F7 to start spell checking.
  5. In the dialog box, review items such as the checked paragraph, the replacement field, and suggested corrections.
  6. Click Change, Change All, Ignore, Ignore All, Add to Dictionary, or Delete as needed.
  7. If you want to adjust review behavior, click Options in the lower-left corner and set items such as Ignore words in UPPERCASE, Ignore words with numbers, or Always suggest corrections.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Spell Check dialog opens and displays the current text and suggestions.
  • Next action available: You can process suggestions one by one or open Options to adjust review rules.

  5. In the dialog box, modify an existing dictionary, create a new one, add an existing dictionary file, delete a dictionary, or change the default setting as needed.
  6. Save the settings and run Spell Check again to confirm the dictionary effect.
