1. Set the slide transition mode
Entry path: Transitions tab → Slide Transition group
- Select the slide that you want to configure.
- Click the Transitions tab at the top.
- Go to the Slide Transition group.
- To advance slides manually, select On Mouse Click.
- To advance slides automatically, select Auto Transition.

- Interface result: The related checkbox is selected in the Slide Transition group.
- Next action: You can continue to set the auto transition time or start a slideshow test.

- Common mistake: If you do not select the target slide first, the setting may be applied to a different slide than expected.

2. Set the auto transition time
Entry path: Transitions tab → Auto Transition time box
- Select the slide for which you want to enable automatic advance.
- Click the Transitions tab at the top.
- Select the Auto Transition checkbox.
- Enter the interval time in the time box.
- If needed, click the up and down arrows to fine-tune the time.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The time box shows the auto transition time that you set.
- Next action: You can enter slideshow mode and test the automatic advance effect.
