How-to Guide
1. Preview Effect
Entry point: Transitions tab → Preview Effect
- Click the Transitions tab at the top of the window.
- Find and click Preview Effect.
- Review the transition effect that plays for the current slide.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The current slide plays its transition animation once.
- Next actions: You can continue adjusting the transition style, duration, or move to another slide for review.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If the target slide is not selected first, you will only see the effect for the currently selected slide.
- Environment limits: This preview is for the current slide and does not play the full sequence for all slides.
2. Auto Preview
Entry point: Transitions tab → drop-down button next to Preview Effect → Auto Preview
- Click the Transitions tab at the top of the window.
- Click the drop-down button next to Preview Effect.
- Select or clear Auto Preview.
- Set or change a slide transition and check whether the preview plays automatically.
Success Criteria
- UI state: When Auto Preview is selected, changing a transition plays the current slide preview automatically. When it is cleared, the preview does not play automatically.
- Next actions: You can continue switching between transition effects and compare the results.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If you changed another page but did not switch to it, you may not immediately see the intended result.
- Environment limits: Auto Preview only changes how you review the effect and does not change Slide Show behavior.
