How to Use WPS Reading View on Windows

1. Switch to Reading View

Entry: View tab at the top of the window → Reading View

1. Open WPS Presentation and go to the presentation that you want to preview.
2. Click the View tab.
3. Find and click Reading View.
4. Review the slide playback effect in the application window.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: The current presentation opens in Reading View inside the window.
• What you can do next: You can continue reviewing slide content.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: If no presentation is open, you cannot enter Reading View for that file.
• Environment note: This feature is for presentation preview in WPS Presentation.

2. Open Reading View from the Status Bar

Entry: Bottom status bar → Reading View

1. Open a presentation in WPS Presentation.
2. Find the Reading View button on the bottom status bar.
3. Click the button to enter Reading View.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: The presentation switches to Reading View in the application window.
• What you can do next: You can start reviewing the current slide and continue moving through the deck.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: If the window is too small, first make sure the full status bar area is visible.

3. Turn Pages and Exit in Reading View

Entry: Direct actions after entering Reading View

1. In Reading View, click the left mouse button or press the Space key to move to the next slide.
2. Continue reviewing slides as needed.
3. Press the Esc key to exit Reading View.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: You can move to the next slide or leave Reading View normally.
• What you can do next: After exiting, you can return to Normal View and continue editing the presentation.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: If keyboard input does not respond, make sure the current presentation window is active.
