How-to Guide
1. Apply preset shadows
Entry path: Picture Tools tab → Effects → Shadow
- Select the picture that you want to edit.
- Click the Picture Tools tab.
- Click Effects.
- Select Shadow.
- Choose a preset shadow style.
- Select an appropriate style under Outer Shadow, Inner Shadow, or Perspective Shadow as needed.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected shadow effect appears around or along the edge of the picture.

Tips While Using

2. Customize shadow settings
Entry path: Picture Tools tab → Effects → More Settings → Object Properties → Effects → Shadow
- Select the target picture.
- Click Effects under the Picture Tools tab.
- Click More Settings to open the Object Properties sidebar.
- Under Effects, click Shadow to expand the settings.
- Adjust Color to set the shadow color.
- Adjust Transparency to control shadow intensity.
- Adjust Size, Blur, Angle, and Distance until the picture looks the way you want.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Changes in the right-side pane are reflected in the picture shadow effect.
- What you can do next: You can return to preset styles, or keep the current settings and continue editing other objects.
