How to Use WPS 3D Rotation for Image Effects on Windows

1. Use preset 3D rotation styles

Entry point: Picture Tools → Effects → 3D Rotation

1. Select the picture that you want to edit.
2. Click the Picture Tools tab at the top of the window.
3. Click Effects.
4. Select 3D Rotation.
5. Choose the preset style you want, such as No Rotation, Parallel, Perspective, or Oblique.

Success Criteria

• UI state: The picture shows the selected 3D rotation style.
• Next actions: You can switch to another preset or open more settings to fine-tune the effect.

Tips While Using

• Common mistakes: If the picture is not selected first, the Picture Tools tab and related effect controls will not appear.
• Environment limits: This feature is used on picture objects in WPS Slides.

2. Customize 3D rotation settings

Entry point: Picture Tools → Effects → More Settings → Object Properties → Effects → 3D Rotation

1. Select the picture that you want to edit.
2. Click Effects under Picture Tools.
3. Click More Settings to open the Object Properties side pane.
4. Under Effects, expand 3D Rotation.
5. Adjust settings such as Preset, X Rotation, Y Rotation, Z Rotation, Perspective, and Distance from Ground as needed.

• UI state: The 3D rotation settings appear in the Object Properties pane, and the picture updates as you change the values.

3. Open 3D rotation settings from other entry points

Entry point: Right-click menu → Format Object; or task pane → Properties button

1. Select the picture, then right-click it and choose Format Object. You can also click the Properties button in the task pane.
2. In the Object Properties pane on the right, click the Effects tab.
3. Expand the 3D Rotation section.
4. Continue by choosing a preset or adjusting the rotation settings.

Success Criteria

• UI state: You can open the 3D rotation settings in the right-side pane without going back to the top menu bar.
• Next actions: You can complete the adjustment directly in the current pane.
