1. Increase picture contrast

Entry: Picture Tools tab → Increase Contrast

  1. Select the picture whose contrast you want to adjust.
  2. Click the Picture Tools tab.
  3. Click the Increase Contrast button.
  4. Keep clicking as needed to gradually raise the picture contrast.

Success Criteria

  • The difference between bright and dark areas becomes more visible.
  • The picture remains editable on the current slide.

Tips While Using

  • Each click increases the contrast by one step.
  • Repeated clicks stack the effect.
  • Excessive contrast may reduce visible picture detail.

2. Decrease picture contrast

Entry: Picture Tools tab → Decrease Contrast

  1. Select the picture you want to adjust.
  2. Click the Picture Tools tab.
  3. Click the Decrease Contrast button.
  4. Repeat as needed to create a softer image tone.

Success Criteria

  • The overall contrast becomes softer.
  • The picture remains available for further style adjustments.

Tips While Using

  • Repeated clicks continue to lower the contrast.
  • It is helpful to review the image together with nearby text and layout elements while adjusting.

3. Restore the original picture style

Entry: Picture Tools tab → Reset Style

  1. Select a picture that has already been adjusted.
  2. Click the Picture Tools tab.
  3. Click Reset Style.
  4. Check whether the picture has returned to its original appearance.

Success Criteria

  • The picture returns to its pre-adjustment display state.
  • You can start a new round of picture styling if needed.

Tips While Using

  • If multiple picture style changes were applied, Reset Style clears those style effects together.
