How-to Guide
1. Group Multiple Pictures
Entry points:
- Picture Tools tab → Arrange area → Group → Group
- Home tab → Arrange → Group
- Select multiple pictures → Floating toolbar → Group
- Hold down Ctrl and select the pictures you want to group.
- In the current interface, click Group from the Picture Tools tab, or click Arrange on the Home tab, or use Group on the floating toolbar.
- Select Group.
- Confirm that the selected pictures now behave as one object.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected pictures show one shared selection box.
- What you can do next: You can move, resize, or rotate them like a single object.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If only one picture is selected, the Group command may be unavailable.

2. Ungroup Pictures
Entry points:
- Picture Tools tab → Arrange area → Group → Ungroup
- Home tab → Arrange → Ungroup
- Select a grouped picture set → Floating toolbar → Ungroup
- Select the grouped picture set.
- In the current interface, click Group from the Picture Tools tab, or click Arrange on the Home tab, or use Ungroup on the floating toolbar.
- Select Ungroup.
- Confirm that the grouped object is split back into individual pictures.

- Interface result: The grouped object is separated and each picture can be selected on its own.
