How-to Guide
1. Apply Preset Color Effects
Entry path: Picture Tools tab → Color
- Select the picture that you want to adjust.
- Click the Picture Tools tab.
- Click Color.
- In the Recolor area, choose a preset color effect.
- Click the effect to apply it to the picture.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The picture shows the new recolor effect.
- Next action available: You can switch to another preset or continue to more color settings.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the picture is not selected first, the Picture Tools entry does not appear.
- Environment note: A picture object must already exist on the slide.
2. Choose a Custom Color
Entry path: Color → More Colors
- Select the target picture and click Color.
- Click More Colors.
- Choose the color source you need.
- Select from Theme Colors if you want to follow the presentation theme.
- Select from Standard Colors for basic colors.
- Select from Recent Colors to reuse a color you used before.
- Select Other Fill Colors to open the full color palette.
- Click the color you want to apply it to the picture.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The picture updates to the selected color scheme.
- Next action available: You can reopen More Colors and continue adjusting.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If no specific color is selected in More Colors, the picture does not change.
- Environment note: The same color can look different depending on the picture content.
3. Use the Eyedropper
Entry path: Color → More Colors → Eyedropper
- Select the target picture and click Color.
- Click More Colors.
- Select Eyedropper.
- Wait for the pointer to change into the eyedropper shape.
- Click the color you want to sample on the screen.
- Apply the sampled color to the current picture.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The picture updates with the sampled color effect.
- Next action available: You can sample again until the visual result is suitable.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Clicking the wrong area may sample an unwanted color.
- Environment note: The eyedropper can sample colors from anywhere on the screen, including other windows.
