How-to Guide

1. Adjust Icon Transparency

Entry path: Right-click icon → Format Object → Object Properties → Fill & Line → Fill

  1. Select the icon whose transparency you want to change.
  2. Right-click the icon.
  3. Select Format Object to open the Object Properties pane.
  4. Under the Picture tab, click Picture Transparency.
  5. Find the Transparency slider.
  6. Set the transparency value from 0% to 100%.
  7. Preview the result in real time and click a blank area to apply it.

Success Criteria

  • Visual result: the icon becomes more or less transparent.
  • Next actions available: you can continue moving, copying, exporting, or restyling the icon.

Tips While Using

  • A higher transparency value makes the icon less visible.
  • When transparency is close to 100%, the icon may become hard to recognize.

2. Use the Side Task Pane

Entry path: Side task pane → Properties

  1. Select the icon whose transparency you want to change.
  2. Click the side Properties button.
  3. Set the fill transparency in the Object Properties sidebar.
  4. Watch the slide while adjusting the value.

  • Visual result: changes in the sidebar are reflected on the selected icon.
