1. Apply a Solid Fill

Entry path: Graphic Tools tab → Fill

  1. Select the icon that you want to recolor.
  2. Click the Graphic Tools tab at the top of the window.
  3. Click Fill to open the color options.
  4. Choose from Theme Colors, Standard Colors, More Fill Colors, Recently Used Colors, or the Eyedropper.
  5. Click the color you want to apply the solid fill to the icon.
  6. If you need more control, click More Settings to open the icon fill panel.

Success Criteria

  • The icon shows the selected solid color.
  • You can continue to more detailed fill settings if needed.

Tips While Using

  • Make sure the icon is selected first, or the related controls may not appear.
  • The Eyedropper can sample a color directly from the screen.

2. Customize a Solid Fill

Entry path: Graphic Tools tab → Fill → More Settings → Object Properties → Fill

  1. Select the icon that you want to format.
  2. Click the Graphic Tools tab.
  3. Open the Fill menu and click More Settings.
  4. In the Object Properties pane on the right, open the Fill & Line tab.
  5. Click Fill to expand the fill options.
  6. Select Solid Fill.
  7. Set the Color and Transparency (0% to 100%).
  8. Preview the result and click a blank area to finish.

Success Criteria

  • Solid Fill is enabled in Object Properties.
  • The icon color and transparency update to match your settings.

Tips While Using

  • A higher transparency value creates a more see-through icon effect.
  • You can watch the result update while adjusting the settings.

3. Set It from the Home Tab

Entry path: Home tab → Shape Fill

  1. Select the icon that you want to recolor.
  2. Click the Home tab.
  3. Click Shape Fill.
  4. Choose a color from the menu, or click More Settings to open Object Properties.

Success Criteria

  • The icon color updates through Shape Fill.
  • You can continue to Object Properties for more detailed settings.

Tips While Using

  • This entry is useful for quick color changes.
  • If you need transparency control, continue to More Settings.

4. Set It from the Right-Click Menu

Entry path: Right-click icon → Set Object Format

  1. Select the icon that you want to format.
  2. Right-click the icon.
  3. Select Set Object Format.
  4. Use the Object Properties pane on the right to adjust the fill style.

Success Criteria

  • The Object Properties pane opens successfully.
  • You can continue editing fill color or transparency in the pane.

Tips While Using

  • This method is convenient when you want to work directly from the editing canvas.
  • If the icon is not selected, the right-click menu may show different options.

5. Set It from the Side Task Pane

Entry path: Side task pane → Object Properties

  1. Select the icon that you want to format.
  2. Click Object Properties in the side pane.
  3. Adjust the fill style in the Object Properties pane.

Success Criteria

  • The Object Properties task pane is open.
  • You can directly adjust icon fill-related settings.

Tips While Using

  • This method is useful when you need to fine-tune multiple icons in sequence.
