How-to Guide
1. Use Preset Rotation
Entry path:
- Shape Tools tab > Rotate
- Home tab > Arrange > Rotate
- Select the icon that you want to rotate.
- Click the Shape Tools tab, or open Arrange on the Home tab.
- Click Rotate.
- Choose the option you need: Rotate Left 90°, Rotate Right 90°, Flip Horizontal, or Flip Vertical.
- Check the result and continue editing if needed.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The icon rotates or flips according to the selected preset option.
- What you can do next: You can continue moving, resizing, or formatting the icon.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the icon is not selected first, the rotation command may be unavailable.

2. Rotate an Icon Manually
Entry path: Select the icon and use the rotation handle above it.
- Select the icon that you want to rotate.
- Move the pointer to the rotation handle above the icon.

- Release the mouse when the icon reaches the angle you want.

- Interface result: The icon rotates freely in the direction you drag.

- Common mistake: Dragging a resize handle instead of the rotation handle changes the size instead of the angle.

3. Set an Exact Rotation Angle
Entry path: Shape Tools tab > Size area > expand button > Object Properties > Size & Properties > Size.
- Select the icon that you want to rotate.
- Click the Shape Tools tab.
- In the Size area, click the expand button to open the Object Properties pane on the right.
- Under Size & Properties, find the Size section.
- Enter the angle you want in the Rotation box, from 0° to 360°.
- You can also use the rotation control to adjust the angle quickly.
- Click a blank area to apply the setting after checking the preview.

4. Use the Right-Click Menu

- Right-click the icon.
- Select Format Object.
