1. Apply a Reflection Effect

Entry: Graphic Tools → Effect → Reflection

  1. Select the icon that you want to add a reflection to.
  2. Click the Graphic Tools tab at the top.
  3. Click Effect.
  4. Select Reflection to view the available reflection variants.
  5. Click the reflection style that you want to apply it to the icon.
  6. If you want more control, click More Settings to open the effect settings panel.

Success Criteria

  • A visible reflection appears below or around the icon.
  • The selected reflection style remains applied when you select the object again.

Tips While Using

  • Select the icon first, or the effect will not be applied to the target object.
  • Presets are useful for quick styling, and you can still refine them later in More Settings.

2. Customize a Reflection Effect

Entry: Graphic Tools → Effect → Reflection → More Settings → Object Properties → Reflection

  1. Select the icon that you want to edit.
  2. Click the Graphic Tools tab.
  3. Click Effect.
  4. Select Reflection and then More Settings to open the Object Properties side panel.
  5. In the Reflection section, adjust the Preset as needed.
  6. Continue adjusting Transparency, Size, Distance, and Blur.
  7. Review the live preview and click a blank area to finish applying the settings.

Success Criteria

  • Reflection settings are visible in the Object Properties panel.
  • The icon reflection changes as you adjust the parameters.

Tips While Using

  • Small parameter changes can noticeably affect the visual result, so adjust them gradually.
  • If the effect looks too strong, reduce the size or increase the transparency first.

3. Set Reflection from the Right-Click Menu

Entry: Right-click menu on the icon → Set Object Format

  1. Select the icon that you want to edit.
  2. Right-click the icon.
  3. Select Set Object Format.
  4. In the Object Properties side panel on the right, find the reflection settings.
  5. Adjust the reflection style or parameters as needed.

Success Criteria

  • The right-click menu opens the Object Properties side panel.
  • You can continue editing the reflection effect in the side panel.

Tips While Using

  • This entry is useful when you want to open settings quickly from the editing canvas.
  • If you do not see reflection options, confirm that the selected object is an icon or graphic object.

4. Set Reflection from the Side Task Pane

Entry: Side task pane → Object Properties

  1. Select the icon that you want to edit.
  2. Click the Object Properties button on the side.
  3. In the Object Properties side panel, find the reflection settings area.
  4. Adjust the reflection effect and watch the live changes on the slide.

Success Criteria

  • The Object Properties panel is visible in the side task pane.
  • The icon reflection updates immediately after you change the settings.

Tips While Using

  • This method is convenient when you want to keep editing several visual settings in one panel.
  • Make sure the icon is selected before adjusting settings so the changes apply to the correct object.
