1. Apply a 3D Rotation Effect

Entry path: Graphic Tools tab → Effects → 3D Rotation

  1. Select the icon that you want to apply a 3D rotation effect to.
  2. Click the Graphic Tools tab.
  3. Click Effects.
  4. Select 3D Rotation to view the available presets.
  5. Choose a style under Parallel, Perspective, or Oblique as needed.
  6. Click the style you want to apply it to the icon.
  7. If you need more adjustments, click More Settings to open the effect settings pane.

Success Criteria

  • The icon shows a visible 3D rotation effect.
  • The selected preset has been applied to the current icon object.
  • You can continue with more detailed adjustments if needed.

Tips While Using

  • Make sure the icon object is selected first, or the related commands may be unavailable.
  • Preset styles directly change the current display angle of the icon.

2. Customize a 3D Rotation Effect

Entry path: Graphic Tools tab → Effects → 3D Rotation → More Settings → Object Properties → 3D Rotation

  1. Select the icon that you want to edit.
  2. Click the Graphic Tools tab.
  3. Click Effects.
  4. Select 3D Rotation, then click More Settings to open the Object Properties pane on the right.
  5. Under 3D Rotation, adjust the settings you need: preset, direction, X Rotation, Y Rotation, Z Rotation, perspective, Keep text flat, and Distance from ground.
  6. Review the live preview while adjusting the settings.
  7. Click a blank area to finish applying the effect.

Success Criteria

  • The 3D Rotation section is open in the Object Properties pane.
  • The icon angle or perspective changes after you adjust the settings.
  • The current settings remain applied to the selected icon.

Tips While Using

  • X, Y, and Z rotation can be combined for more complex visual results.
  • When adjusting perspective, compare the icon with other slide elements for visual balance.
  • Keep text flat is useful when the icon contains text content.

3. Use the Right-Click Menu

Entry path: Right-click icon → Set Object Format

  1. Select the icon that you want to edit.
  2. Right-click the icon.
  3. Select Set Object Format.
  4. Find the 3D rotation settings in the Object Properties pane on the right.
  5. Adjust the effect settings as needed.

Success Criteria

  • The object format entry opens successfully from the right-click menu.
  • The Object Properties pane shows the 3D rotation settings.
  • Your changes are reflected on the current icon.

Tips While Using

  • This method is useful when you want to open object settings quickly from the editing area.

4. Use the Side Task Pane

Entry path: Side task pane → Properties

  1. Select the icon that you want to edit.
  2. Click Properties on the side pane.
  3. Find the 3D rotation settings in the Object Properties pane.
  4. Adjust the related effect settings as needed.

Success Criteria

  • The Properties area in the side task pane is open.
  • You can continuously view and adjust the 3D rotation effect in object properties.
  • The adjustment result is shown on the current icon immediately.
