1. Set 3-D Format from Graphic Tools

Feature path: Graphic Tools → Effects → More Settings → Object Properties → Effects → 3-D Format

  1. Select the icon that you want to format.
  2. Click the Graphic Tools tab at the top.
  3. Click Effects.
  4. Select More Settings to open the Object Properties sidebar on the right.
  5. In the Effects tab, find the 3-D Format section.
  6. Adjust Depth, Bevel, Material, and Lighting as needed.
  7. Review the live preview and confirm the icon appearance in your presentation.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The 3-D Format settings area is visible on the right.
  • Next action available: The icon appearance changes as you adjust the settings.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the icon is not selected first, the related effect options may be unavailable.
  • Environment note: Use an editable icon object in WPS Presentation.

2. Open Object Formatting from the Right-Click Menu

Feature path: Right-click the icon → Set Object Format

  1. Select the icon that you want to edit.
  2. Right-click the icon.
  3. Select Set Object Format.
  4. In the Object Properties sidebar, switch to the effects-related area.
  5. Find 3-D Format and adjust the settings you need.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Object Properties sidebar appears on the right.
  • Next action available: You can continue editing depth, material, lighting, or other related settings.

  • Common mistake: If you right-click outside the icon object, the menu options may be different.

3. Adjust 3-D Format from the Side Task Pane

Feature path: Side task pane → Properties

  1. Select the icon that you want to give a 3-D effect.
  2. Click the Properties button on the side.
  3. In the Object Properties sidebar, open the effects settings area.
  4. Find 3-D Format and adjust depth, bevel, material, and lighting.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The task pane shows Object Properties and the effects settings area.
  • Next action available: After the changes, you can continue editing other objects or save the presentation.
