Will preset styles overwrite existing formatting?

  1. After a preset style is applied, some existing chart formatting may be overwritten.
  2. If you want to keep detailed adjustments, apply the preset style first.
  3. Then continue adjusting fonts, colors, or chart elements as needed.

How do I view all preset styles?

  1. Select the chart first.
  2. Open the Chart Tools tab.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow on the right side of the style list to expand more styles.

Can I save a custom style?

  1. Saving a custom chart style directly is not currently supported.
  2. If you want to reuse a similar format, apply a preset style first.
  3. Then use Format Painter to copy the chart formatting.
