1. Insert an attachment

Feature path: Insert tab at the top of the window → Attachments

1. Open the presentation you want to edit and switch to the target slide.
2. Click the Insert tab.
3. Click Attachments.
4. In the dialog box, select the file you want to insert.
5. Click Open to finish the insertion.
6. The file appears as an icon on the current slide.

Success Criteria

• An attachment icon appears on the current slide.
• The file is inserted and can be positioned as part of the slide layout.

Tips While Using

• Inserting attachments can increase the presentation file size.
• It is helpful to insert only the files you expect to open during the presentation.

2. Check the attachment icon and position

Feature path: Return to the slide that already contains the attachment

1. Open the slide that contains the attachment.
2. Find the inserted attachment icon on the page.
3. Adjust the icon position to match your slide layout.
4. Save the presentation to keep the current layout.

Success Criteria

• The attachment icon is visible on the slide.
• The icon position is clear and does not block the main content.

Tips While Using

• It is helpful to place the icon near the edge of the slide or in a note area.

3. Open an inserted attachment

Feature path: Double-click the attachment icon in editing view or during presentation playback

1. Open the presentation that contains the attachment.
2. Go to the slide where the attachment was inserted.
3. Double-click the attachment icon.
4. View the file in an app that supports that file format.

• Double-clicking launches the attached file.
• The file content opens correctly in a supported app.
