  • Next action available: You can continue adjusting start behavior, playback length, and delay.

Tips While Using

Entry path: Animations tab → Start drop-down

  1. Open the Animations tab.
  2. Select the animated object.

Success Criteria

  • Environment note: The object must already have an animation effect.

3. Set duration

  1. Open the Animations tab.
  2. Select the animated object.
  3. Enter the playback length in seconds in the Duration box.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Duration box shows the updated number of seconds.
  • Next action available: When you preview the animation, the playback length changes accordingly.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the duration is too short, viewers may not have enough time to notice key content.
  • Environment note: Preview the slide and adjust the value again if needed.

4. Set delay

Entry path: Animations tab → Delay input box

  1. Open the Animations tab.
  2. Select the animated object.
  3. Enter the waiting time in seconds in the Delay box before the animation starts.

  • Next action available: During preview, the animation starts after the waiting time you set.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the delay is too long, the slide may feel slow during presentation.
  • Environment note: When multiple objects play in sequence, adjust Delay together with Start behavior.
