How-to Index

How-to Guide

1. Open Animation Properties

Entry: Animation tab → Animation Properties

  1. Select the object that already has an animation applied.
  2. Click the Animation tab at the top.
  3. Click Animation Properties.
  4. After the property area or options open, continue adjusting the current animation settings.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The settings area for the current animated object is open.
  • Next action available: You can view and choose the property options supported by the current animation effect.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not select an object with an animation first, the settings may not open in a usable state.
  • Environment note: The object needs to have an animation effect already applied.

2. Adjust Properties for the Current Animation Effect

Entry: Animation tab → Animation Properties

  1. Select the object whose animation you want to modify.
  2. Click Animation Properties.
  3. Review the property options available for the current animation effect.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The property options for the current animation effect are updated.
  • Next action available: You can continue playing, previewing, or editing the animation settings.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Different animation effects show different property options, so changes in the option list are normal.
  • Environment note: Only properties supported by the current animation effect are shown.

3. Turn On Auto Preview to Check the Result

Entry: Auto Preview in the animation settings area

  1. Select the object that already has an animation.
  2. Open Animation Properties and adjust the relevant settings.
  3. Turn on Auto Preview.
  4. Check whether the updated animation result matches your expectation.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: You can see the animation change after adjusting the properties.
  • Next action available: You can continue fine-tuning the settings until the result fits your slide.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If Auto Preview is off, you may need to play the animation manually to confirm the result.
  • Environment note: The preview result depends on the animation effect already applied to the object.
