1. Preview Effect
Entry path: Animation tab → Preview Effect
- Click the Animation tab at the top of the window.
- Find and click Preview Effect.
- The animations on the current slide will play in sequence.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The animations on the current slide start playing in the configured order.
- What you can do next: You can continue adjusting animation effects, order, or object settings.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the current slide has no animation applied, you may not see any visible change after clicking the button.
- Environment note: This action works for the current slide, so open the slide that contains the animated objects first.
2. Auto Preview
Entry path: Animation tab → drop-down button next to Preview Effect → Auto Preview
- Click the Animation tab at the top of the window.
- Find and click the drop-down button next to Preview Effect.
- Select or clear Auto Preview.
- When selected, WPS will automatically preview the effect when you set or change an object's animation. When cleared, it will not preview automatically.

- What you can do next: You can continue adjusting multiple object animations without leaving the editing view.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you only change non-animation content, Auto Preview will not be triggered.
- Environment note: Auto Preview is mainly used for immediate checking when you set or replace animation effects.
