How-to Guide

1. Use Animation Painter

Entry path: Animations tab → Animation Painter button

  1. Open the target presentation and make sure you are in editing mode.
  2. Select the object that already has the animation effect you want to reuse.
  3. Click Animation Painter on the Animations tab.
  4. Click the target object that should receive the same animation effect.
  5. Preview the slide to confirm that the target object now uses the copied animation.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The target object shows the same animation effect as the source object.
  • Next action available: You can continue applying animations to other objects or switch to slideshow preview.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not select the source object first, Animation Painter may not copy the effect as expected.
  • Environment note: Use this feature in editing mode and make sure the selected object can receive animation.

2. Adjust Advanced Settings

Entry path: Animation PainterMore Settings

  1. Finish the basic Animation Painter action first.
  2. Open the More Settings panel.
  3. Adjust the advanced parameters in the panel.
  4. Use the live preview to review the current effect.
  5. Click OK to save the settings.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The updated settings take effect in the panel and on the object.
  • Next action available: You can continue editing the animation or test it in slideshow mode.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Saving without previewing may leave the final playback different from what you expected.
