Entry path: Tools → Review → Show Comments
- Tap Tools at the bottom of the screen.
- Open the Review tab.
- Tap Show Comments to turn comment display off.
- Tap a cell that already contains a comment. The comment box will not open automatically.
- Tap Show Comments again to turn comment display back on.
- Tap a commented cell again, and the comment box will appear automatically.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: when the toggle is off, commented cells no longer open comment boxes automatically; when it is on again, comment boxes appear normally.
- What you can do next: continue reviewing, checking, or editing spreadsheet content.
Tips While Using
- Comment boxes may cover part of the cell content when they are displayed.
