- Enter the required arguments in the Function Arguments dialog box.
- Click OK to insert the function.
Success Criteria
- The selected cell now contains the STDEVA function.
- The referenced range or argument values are applied.
- The cell shows a result or the formula after confirmation.
Tips While Using
- Search with the English function name
STDEVA.- Keep the argument order consistent with your intended data range.

2. Type the STDEVA formula directly in a cell
Entry path: Cell / Formula bar
- Select the target cell.
- Type
=STDEVA(...)directly in the cell or in the formula bar. - Press Enter to confirm.
- If you need to revise the formula, select the cell again and edit the arguments in the formula bar.
Success Criteria
- The formula is entered in the target cell.
- Pressing Enter returns a calculation result.
- Selecting the cell again shows the full formula in the formula bar.
