1. Enter PRODUT from the Insert Function dialog

Entry path: Formulas tab → Insert Function, or the fx button in the formula bar

  1. Select the cell where you want to enter the formula.
  2. Click the fx button in the formula bar, or click Insert Function on the Formulas tab.
  3. Search for PRODUT in the dialog box.
  4. Select the function and confirm.
  5. Fill in the parameters in the function arguments window.
  6. Confirm to finish the entry.

  • Interface result: The target cell now contains a PRODUT formula.

2. Type the formula directly in a cell

Entry path: A worksheet cell or the formula bar

  1. Select the cell where you want to enter the formula.

  4. If syntax hints are available, review them after typing the opening parenthesis.
