How-to Guide
1. Insert IMTAN through the Insert Function dialog box
Entry point: Formulas tab → Insert Function, or the fx button in the formula bar
- Select the cell where you want to enter the formula.
- Click the fx button in the formula bar, or click Insert Function on the Formulas tab.
- Search for IMTAN in the dialog box.
- Select the function and click OK.
- Enter the required parameters in the function arguments dialog box.
- Click OK to finish inserting the function.
Success Criteria
- The IMTAN function has been inserted into the cell.
- You can continue editing parameters or press Enter to confirm the result.
Tips While Using
- Searching with the uppercase English function name can make the function easier to find.
- Make sure the parameter content matches your calculation needs.
2. Type the IMTAN formula directly in a cell
Entry point: target cell or formula bar
- Select the cell where you want to enter the formula.
- Type
=IMTAN(...)directly in the cell or in the formula bar. - Press Enter to confirm the input.
- If you want to review syntax guidance, type
=IMTAN(and then press F1.
Success Criteria
- The cell shows a formula result, or remains ready for you to complete the parameters.
- The full formula is visible in the formula bar.
Tips While Using
- Use English commas as parameter separators.
