1. Insert FISHER from the Insert Function dialog box

Entry point: Formulas tab → Insert Function, or the fx button in the formula bar

  1. Select the cell where you want to insert the formula.
  2. Click the fx button in the formula bar, or click Insert Function on the Formulas tab.
  3. Search for FISHER in the Insert Function dialog box.
  4. Select the function and click OK.
  5. Enter the required arguments in the Function Arguments dialog box.
  6. Click OK to finish inserting the formula.

Success Criteria

  • The selected cell now contains the FISHER function.
  • After the arguments are filled in, the cell can return a calculation result.
  • You can continue editing, copying, or filling the formula down.

Tips While Using

  • Search with the uppercase name FISHER to find the function more quickly.

2. Type the FISHER formula directly in a cell

Entry point: Worksheet cell or formula bar

  1. Select the target cell.
  2. Type =FISHER(...) directly in the cell or the formula bar.
  3. Press Enter to confirm.
