1. Insert COT from the Insert Function dialog box
Entry path: Formulas tab → Insert Function
- Select the cell where you want to enter the formula.
- Click the fx button in the formula bar, or click Insert Function on the Formulas tab.
- Search for COT in the Insert Function dialog box.
- Select the function and click OK.
- Enter the required parameters in the Function Arguments dialog box.
- Click OK to finish inserting the function.

Entry path: Cell → Formula bar

- Type
=COT(...)directly in the cell or in the formula bar. - Press Enter to confirm.
