1. Insert BAHTTEXT from the Insert Function dialog
Entry: Formulas tab → Insert Function button
- Select the cell where you want to enter the formula.
- Click the
fxbutton in the formula bar, or clickInsert Functionon theFormulastab. - Search for
BAHTTEXTin the Insert Function dialog. - Select the function and click
OK. - Enter the required arguments in the Function Arguments dialog.
- Click
OKto finish entering the function.
Success Criteria
- The selected cell contains the BAHTTEXT function.
- The Function Arguments window opens and accepts input.
- The cell shows a calculation result after confirmation.
Tips While Using
- Use the full function name
BAHTTEXTwhen searching.- Make sure the arguments match the function requirements and do not mix text and numbers incorrectly.
2. Type the formula directly in a cell
Entry: Cell → Formula bar
- Select the cell where you want to enter the formula.
- Type
=BAHTTEXT(...)directly in the cell or in the formula bar. - Press Enter to confirm.
- If you want to review argument details, type
=BAHTTEXT(and pressF1to view syntax guidance.
Success Criteria
- The formula is entered successfully in the cell.
- Pressing Enter returns a function result.
- The formula remains editable from the formula bar.
Tips While Using
- Every formula must start with an equals sign
=.- Use English commas as argument separators.
3. Review syntax and argument details
Entry: Formulas tab → Insert Function button
- Click
Insert Functionon theFormulastab. - Enter
BAHTTEXTin the search box. - Select the function to review the syntax
BAHTTEXT(...). - Click
Help on this functionto open more details.
Success Criteria
- BAHTTEXT appears in the function list.
- The syntax and help entry are visible.
