How-to Guide

1. Insert BAHTTEXT from the Insert Function dialog

Entry: Formulas tab → Insert Function button

  1. Select the cell where you want to enter the formula.
  2. Click the fx button in the formula bar, or click Insert Function on the Formulas tab.
  3. Search for BAHTTEXT in the Insert Function dialog.
  4. Select the function and click OK.
  5. Enter the required arguments in the Function Arguments dialog.
  6. Click OK to finish entering the function.

Success Criteria

  • The selected cell contains the BAHTTEXT function.
  • The Function Arguments window opens and accepts input.
  • The cell shows a calculation result after confirmation.

Tips While Using

  • Use the full function name BAHTTEXT when searching.
  • Make sure the arguments match the function requirements and do not mix text and numbers incorrectly.

2. Type the formula directly in a cell

Entry: Cell → Formula bar

  1. Select the cell where you want to enter the formula.
  2. Type =BAHTTEXT(...) directly in the cell or in the formula bar.
  3. Press Enter to confirm.
  4. If you want to review argument details, type =BAHTTEXT( and press F1 to view syntax guidance.

Success Criteria

  • The formula is entered successfully in the cell.
  • Pressing Enter returns a function result.
  • The formula remains editable from the formula bar.

Tips While Using

  • Every formula must start with an equals sign =.
  • Use English commas as argument separators.

3. Review syntax and argument details

Entry: Formulas tab → Insert Function button

  1. Click Insert Function on the Formulas tab.
  2. Enter BAHTTEXT in the search box.
  3. Select the function to review the syntax BAHTTEXT(...).
  4. Click Help on this function to open more details.

Success Criteria

  • BAHTTEXT appears in the function list.
  • The syntax and help entry are visible.
  • You can return to the worksheet and continue entering the formula.

Tips While Using

  • Confirm that the selected function name is correct before opening help.
  • After reviewing help, return to the argument window if you want to continue entering the formula.
