1. Save a Document
Entry path: Top toolbar → Save
- After editing the PDF, tap Save in the top toolbar.
- Wait while the app saves the current changes.
- If this is the first time you save the file, choose a save location when prompted.
- Select local storage or cloud documents as needed to finish saving.
Success Check
- The current document changes are kept.
- On the first save, the file is written to the selected location.
- When you reopen the file, the saved content is still there.
Notes
- Save updates the current file.
- Saving to cloud documents for the first time requires a network connection.
- For important files, save after key edits.
2. Save As a Copy
Entry path: Top toolbar → More → Save As
- Tap More in the top toolbar.
- Choose Save As.
- Select a save location.
- Enter or edit the file name.
- Tap Save to finish.
Success Check
- A new PDF copy is created.
- The new file is saved with the selected name and location.
- The original file name, content, and location stay unchanged.
Notes
- Save As is useful when you want to keep the original file and create a new version.
- When naming copies, adding a date or version label can make files easier to identify.
- Saving to cloud documents also requires an available network connection.
