How-to Guide

1. Optimize a Single Image

Entry path: Picture Edit tab → Smart Optimize button

  1. Open a PDF file that contains images.
  2. Click the image that you want to optimize to select it.
  3. Click the Picture Edit tab on the top menu bar.
  4. Click the Smart Optimize button on the toolbar.
  5. Wait while the system automatically adjusts the image sharpness, contrast, and color.
  6. Review the optimized image result.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The selected image is automatically optimized and the page display updates.
  • Next action available: You can continue editing other images or save the current PDF.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If no image is selected first, the feature cannot run normally.
  • Permissions or membership: This feature requires membership for PDF editing.
  • Environment limit: You need to be on a PDF page where images can be edited.

2. Optimize Multiple Images in a Batch

Entry path: Picture Edit tab → Smart Optimize button

  1. Open a PDF file that contains multiple images.
  2. Hold Ctrl and click multiple images one by one to select them.
  3. Confirm that all target images are selected.
  4. Click Smart Optimize.
  5. Wait while the system automatically optimizes all selected images.
  6. Check whether the results meet the needs of the current page.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: All selected images are optimized.
  • Next action available: You can continue adjusting page content or save the processed PDF.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not hold Ctrl, only the last selected image may remain selected.
  • Permissions or membership: This feature requires membership for PDF editing.
