What should I do if Select & Translate does not respond?
- Make sure Follow Panel (H) is turned on in the Select & Translate drop-down menu.
- Select text in the PDF again and confirm that the content is selectable.
- Check whether your internet connection is working normally.
- If the file is a scanned or image-based PDF, run OCR first and then try again.
Which languages are supported for translation?
- This feature supports translation between multiple languages.
- Common examples include Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean.
- For more accurate results, set the source language and target language manually in settings.
Can I copy the translation result?
- Select the translated content in the translation panel.
- Copy it and paste it where needed.
- Review the copied result with the surrounding context when necessary.
Why can’t a scanned PDF be translated directly?
- Content in a scanned PDF is usually image-based rather than selectable text.
- Run OCR first to convert image text into selectable text.
- After recognition is complete, use Select & Translate again.
