1. Run Screenshot Comparison
Entry: Home tab → Screenshot Comparison
- Click the Home tab on the top menu bar.
- Click Screenshot Comparison on the toolbar.
- WPS automatically captures the current page as the baseline.
- Edit the page as needed, then click Screenshot Comparison again.
- Review the before-and-after comparison result.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: A comparison result view opens and shows differences between the earlier and edited page states.
- What you can do next: You can continue reviewing the page and decide whether more edits are needed.
Tips While Using
- Membership: This feature requires membership access to edit PDF files.
- Common mistake: If no edits are made after the baseline is captured, the comparison result may show little or no visible difference.
- Limits: The current workflow mainly supports comparison for the current page.
2. Change Comparison Views
Entry: Home tab → Screenshot Comparison → View settings
- Click Screenshot Comparison to open the comparison view.
- Choose the view mode you want to use in the comparison interface.
- Select Side-by-side to place the original and edited results next to each other.
- Select Overlay to review differences in a layered view.
- Select Slider to drag across the page and inspect changed areas.
- Switch to the view that fits your review task.
