1. Enhance a scanned document
Entry path: Scanned Document tab → preset style area
- Open the scanned PDF file that you want to enhance.
- Click the Scanned Document tab on the top menu bar.
- In the preset style area on the left side of the toolbar, select the effect you want. Available options include Original, Smart Optimization, Shadow Removal, Descreen, and Text Enhancement.
- Click the selected effect to apply it to the current scanned page.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The page appearance changes according to the selected preset.
- Next action available: You can continue switching presets, comparing results, or saving the file.
Tips While Using
- Permissions or membership: Editing PDF files requires an active membership.
- Usage tip: Different documents may work better with different presets, so preview the result before saving.
2. Compare enhancement results
Entry path: Scanned Document tab → preset style area
- Apply any enhancement effect to the document first.
- Click Original to compare the current page with the original scanned appearance.
- Switch among different effects to compare changes in shadows, screen patterns, and text clarity.
- Select the most suitable effect and save the document.
- If you need to process a multi-page file, choose Apply to All Pages.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: You can switch back and forth between the original view and different enhancement effects.
- Next action available: After confirming the result, you can save the document or continue adjusting presets.
