1. Convert to Word

Entry path: Convert tab → PDF to Word button

  1. Open the PDF file you want to process.
  2. Click the Convert tab on the top menu bar.
  3. Click PDF to Word.
  4. In the dialog box, set the conversion parameters, including the conversion engine, conversion mode, output format, image settings, and output folder.
  5. Click Start Conversion.
  6. Wait for the task to finish, then open the output folder to view the generated Word file.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The conversion task finishes and no longer shows a processing state.
  • Next action available: You can see the generated DOC or DOCX file in the output folder.
  • File result: The Word document can be edited further for text, images, and formatting.

Tips While Using

  • Membership requirement: PDF editing and related conversion capabilities require an active membership.
  • Formatting result: Complex layouts may still need manual adjustment after conversion.
  • File saving: Make sure the output folder has enough space and write access before you start.

2. Configure conversion options

Entry path: Convert tab → PDF to Word button → settings panel

  1. Open the PDF, then click PDF to Word on the Convert tab.
  2. Choose a conversion engine in the settings panel.
  3. Select a conversion mode based on the document, switching between Standard and Precise as needed.
  4. Choose .docx or .doc as the output format.
  5. Adjust image settings such as compression and resolution if needed.
  6. Choose the output folder.
  7. Click Start Conversion to run the task.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The settings are selected according to your current needs.
  • Next action available: After you click Start Conversion, the task starts normally.
  • Output result: The generated file format and save location match your selection.

Tips While Using

  • Mode selection: For ordinary documents, you can start with Standard mode. If layout retention matters more, try Precise mode.
  • Output format: If you work mainly in newer office environments, .docx is usually the more practical choice.
  • Image handling: For PDFs with many images, adjust compression and resolution to balance clarity and file size.
