1. Extract a single image
Entry: Picture Edit tab → Extract Image
- Open the PDF file that contains the target image.
- Click the image you want to extract to select it.
- Click the Picture Edit tab on the top menu bar.
- Click Extract Image.
- Choose the save location in the dialog box.
- Click Save to finish.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The save dialog box opens and lets you choose a local folder.
- What you can do next: After saving, you can find the exported image file in the target folder.
- No unwanted change: The image remains in the original PDF.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the image is not selected first, the Extract Image entry may not work as expected.
- Membership: This feature requires membership access for PDF editing.
- File management: Confirm the save path in advance so the exported file is easy to find later.
2. Extract multiple images
Entry: Picture Edit tab → Extract Image
- Open the PDF file that contains multiple images.
- Hold Ctrl and click each image you want to extract so that multiple images are selected.
- Click Extract Image.
- Choose the save location.
- After saving, check the target folder for the separately exported image files.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Multiple images stay selected at the same time.
- What you can do next: After saving, each selected image appears as a separate file in the target folder.
- No unwanted change: The original PDF page content is not deleted by the extraction action.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not hold Ctrl, only one image may stay selected.
