What is the difference between Enhance Resolution and image sharpening?

  1. Enhance Resolution is mainly used for scanned PDF files.

  3. If you are working with a full scanned PDF, Enhance Resolution is the more suitable option.

Will the file size increase after enhancement?

  1. It can.
  2. Improving page clarity may increase the file size.
  3. Preview the result after processing and save the final file as needed.

Can I undo the enhancement result?

  1. You can try pressing Ctrl+Z to undo the most recent action.
  2. If you have already made other edits, check the current undo range first.
  3. For important files, save a backup copy before processing.

Why can’t I find the Enhance Resolution entry?

  1. Make sure the file you opened is a scanned PDF.
  2. Check whether you are in the Scan tab.
  3. Also confirm that your account has the required membership access and that WPS Office is updated.
