How-to Guide
1. Turn On Content Borders
Entry path: Text Editing tab → Content Borders checkbox
- Open the PDF file you want to work on.
- Enter text editing mode.
- Find the Content Borders checkbox on the toolbar.
- Select the Content Borders checkbox.
- Check whether borders now appear around editable content areas in the document.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: borders are shown around editable content areas.
- Next action available: you can continue selecting and editing text.
Tips While Using
- This feature requires PDF editing access first.
- Content Borders is only a visual aid for identifying editable regions during editing.
- If you are not in text editing mode, the checkbox may not appear.
2. Turn Off Content Borders
Entry path: Text Editing tab → Content Borders checkbox
- Keep the PDF in text editing mode.
- Find the Content Borders checkbox on the toolbar.
- Clear the Content Borders checkbox.
- Confirm that the borders around editable content are hidden.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the editable region borders are no longer displayed.
- Next action available: you can continue reviewing or editing the PDF.
Tips While Using
- Turning off borders does not change the actual document content.
- If you need to identify editable regions again, select the option again.
