FAQ

Does selected-text translation require an internet connection?

  1. Yes. Selected-text translation requires an internet connection.
  2. If the translation result does not appear, first check whether your phone is connected to the internet.
  3. After the connection is restored, select the text again and tap Translate to try again.

Will the translation result be written directly into the document?

  1. No.
  2. The translation result is shown only in the pop-up panel so you can review the meaning.
  3. When you return to the document, the original content stays unchanged.

Why can’t I see the Translate button?

  1. Make sure you have selected a word or sentence in the document.
  2. Check whether the floating toolbar has appeared.
  3. If the button still does not appear, select the text again or update WPS Office to the latest version.
